Hi, I’m Sophie, the cake artist behind Soph's Cakes! I’ve always had a love for both baking and art, and as a child, I would spend hours experimenting in the kitchen. What started as a simple curiosity for creating delicious treats quickly turned into a deep passion for cake design.

My journey began with decorating cakes for fun, just to see how I could turn a basic recipe into something beautiful. As my skills grew, so did my love for the craft, and I started to refine my techniques and build a strong foundation of knowledge. I immersed myself in learning everything I could about cake decoration, from mastering intricate piping to experimenting with new flavours and styles.

Today, I combine my passion for art and design with my love of baking to create stunning, custom cakes that are not only a feast for the taste buds but a visual masterpiece. Whether it’s a wedding cake that wows or a simple birthday cake that brings a smile, my goal is always the same: to create a cake that feels as special as the occasion it’s for.
